Arkansas Fairways & Greens (March 8, 2010) – Multiple sources, including Golf Channel, ESPN and Golf Digest are reporting world number one Tiger Woods and swing coach Hank Haney have been seen during the past weekend working together at Isleworth Country Club near Orlando, Florida.
According to an unnamed source who spoke to Golf Channel’s Rex Hoggard, “It is as hard as Woods has worked on his swing since well before his November car crash ignited a controversy over his infidelity.”
The news only furthers fuels the fire that Woods is fast-tracking a return to golf in time for the 2010 Masters. Many, including myself, believe Tiger will return for the unofficial Tavistock Cup match March 22 & 23 between Isleworth and Lake Nona Country Clubs near Orlando. Speculation has him then playing at Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill (also in Orlando) as a tune-up to Augusta.
However, in his public statement last month, Woods said he didn’t know when he was planning on returning to golf.
